Refund and Cancellation Policy

1. Purpose
This policy explains how cancellations and refunds are handled for childcare bookings made through Mia’s Minis, LLC (“Mia’s Minis”). Our goal is to ensure fairness and respect for both families and sitters while maintaining the reliability of our services.
2. Client Cancellations
- Cancellations made more than 24 hours before the scheduled start time: No cancellation fee will apply.
- Cancellations made less than 24 hours before the scheduled start time: The client will be charged 50% of the total booking fee.
- Cancellations made less than 12 hours before the scheduled start time: The client will be charged 100% (full cost) of the total booking fee.
This fee compensates sitters for their reserved time and lost opportunities.
3. No-Show Policy
If a client fails to appear for a confirmed booking without prior notice, the full service fee will be charged. Repeated no-shows may result in suspension or termination of service privileges.
4. Sitter Cancellations
If a sitter cancels, Mia’s Minis will make every reasonable effort to provide a qualified replacement sitter as soon as possible. If no replacement is available, clients will receive a full refund for any prepaid fees.
